For the first time, these two components are combined in one device. You can enjoy the dynamic, almost distortion-free and clear headphone amplification of the Phonitor 2, you have a preamp out for connecting your speakers and you can connect a digital player of your choice to the Phonitor 3 DAC and have PCM as well as DSD audio data converted in highest quality. Useful functions for accurate listening As a headphone and monitor controller for use in professional recording studios, the Phonitor 3 DAC has a wide range of monitoring options: Already panned signals can be heard even more precisely with L/R Solo. The L/R Swap switch swaps left and right channels, which can be helpful when selecting samples with panorama movement. The common Mono Sum function can be used in combination with the Phase Rotate switch to listen to the mid and side signals separately. Finally, the laterality function (balance control) can be used to compensate for different sensitivity of the left and right ear.
