The Avantone CLA-100 is a studio reference amplifier modeled after classic Class A/B power amplifiers. It was developed for the Avantone CLA-10 and old Yamaha NS10, but can also be combined with other passive speakers. Its low distortion and its clean and transparent sound make it the best choice for demanding studios with passive monitoring systems. What are the benefits of convection cooling? Due to its noise-free convection cooling, the CLA-200 can easily be placed in the same room as the monitors. Power amplifiers with built-in fan cooling are often so noisy that they have to be placed outside the room. Even more power? If you use the CLA-100 in the "bridged mono" configuration, up to 245 watts of power are possible for one mono channel. In this case, two CLA-100s can be operated in parallel for one stereo channel each.
