Der Nikon MB-D12 ist ein ergonomisch gestalteter Batteriehandgriff für die DSLR-Kameras Nikon D800, D800E und D810. Der Griff ermöglicht das Anschließen zusätzlicher Akkus für mehr Leistung und längere Aufnahmezeiten (erhöht die maximale Bildrate auf 6 BpS). Der MB-D12 bietet zwei Batterieeinschübe – einen, der Platz für einen EN-EL15-Akku bietet, und einen, der 8 AA-Batterien (Batterien nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) fasst. Der Batteriegriff MB-D12 bietet zudem zusätzliche Stabilität und verfügt über einen alternativen Auslöser, einen Mehrfachwähler und AF-Starttasten zur Verwendung, wenn die Kamera in der vertikalen Aufnahmeposition gehalten wird, sowie über sekundäre Haupt- und Unterbefehlswahlschalter.
