Equipped with a custom-made CineMag USA transformer and the original WA-87-B-50V capsule, this microphone offers outstanding sound quality. The gold-coated 6 µm NOS Mylar diaphragm and fully discrete circuitry with NOS Fairchild transistors and WIMA and Nichicon capacitors guarantee warmth and detail. This microphone offers three switchable polar patterns: Cardioid, omnidirectional and figure-of-eight, making it versatile. The integrated low-cut at 80 Hz and the -10 dB pad allow precise adjustment to different recording conditions. With a maximum sound pressure level of 125 / 132 dBSPL and an impressive signal-to-noise ratio of -117 dB, the microphone delivers first-class results in every recording. The frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and the output impedance of 150 ohms ensure a wide and balanced sound reproduction. The microphone requires 48 V phantom power and has a gold-plated 3-pin XLR connection.
