Mahogany guitar with innovative construction In the construction of the Revstar Standard RSS20 guitar, Yamaha combines the traditional set-neck design with a number of innovative details that promise a lively sound character. Accordingly, the mahogany body not only features a maple top but also carefully placed sound chambers to maximize resonance development and powerful tone. The glued, three-piece mahogany neck is also reinforced by inlaid carbon rods and offers premium playing characteristics with its pleasantly powerful C-profile and satin-finished neck back.
