With state-of-the-art DSP technology, powerful Class D power amplifiers and integrated room correction, they deliver precise and detailed sound reproduction. Thanks to the optimised driver construction and sophisticated housing design, the monitors are suitable for both ambitious home studios and professional studio use. Precise sound for any production environment Equipped with a 5" ultra-light, coated paper mid-woofer and a 1.5" graphene-reinforced textile dome tweeter, the monitors deliver clear and detailed sound imaging. The result: an exact reproduction over the entire frequency range from 46 Hz to 22.5 kHz with a linear response of ±1 dB. This makes them the perfect choice for both mixing and mastering. Powerful DSP control and linear phase response The fully DSP-controlled system operates at a 96 kHz sampling rate, ensuring both precision and flexibility. With a coherent time response across the entire audio spectrum and a linear phase response, the iLoud Precision 5 MKII guarantees acoustically neutral and transparent reproduction. Powerful Class D power amplifiers The integrated audiophile Class D power amplifiers deliver a total output of 135 W RMS. The powerful bass-midrange driver receives 110 W, while the tweeter is driven with 25 W. With a maximum sound pressure level of 113.3 dB (peak, free field), the monitor impresses even in demanding listening situations, without audible distortion (only 0.005 % at rated power). Individual room and sound optimisation Thanks to the integrated ARC X room correction, the speaker adapts perfectly to any studio environment. Precise calibrations can be carried out using the supplied ARC measurement microphone solution to minimise disruptive room influences. Extensive sound controls are also available, including high-pass filters as well as LF, Desk, Mid and HF Contour settings.
