The Evolution Wireless Digital System The Sennheiser EW-D ME3 SET (U1/5) (823.2-831.8 / 863.2-864.8 MHz) consists of a stationary EW-D EM Rack Receiver, an EW-DSK digital bodypack transmitter and the ME 3 headset microphone and is particularly suitable for singers and speakers. The headset microphone offers very high speech intelligibility. Its cardioid polar pattern also provides excellent feedback immunity by preferentially picking up sound from the front and blocking out noise from behind and feedback. Overall, the headset is comfortable and easy to wear. Sennheiser's system makes use of the equidistant frequency grid, this has only been used in Sennheiser's high-end Digital 6000 and Digital 9000 systems until now. This makes complex frequency coordination a thing of the past. This means that even laymen in radio technology can operate and set up the new system really quickly and easily. All settings are made via the display and the function keys.
