With this series the Japanese developers of the popular and successful Starclassic series go one step further. This highly limited high-end snare drum combines excellent and noble design with precise workmanship made of high-quality materials. Top class material processing: Tama Star The 14" x6.5" hybrid kettle is made of the precious woods Bubinga and Walnut and additionally has two Sound Focus rings made of maple inside, which ensure a clear and expressive sound reproduction. The combination of three different woods and modern chrome hardware makes the snare not only a real gem on the outside, but also in sound. The full and warm basic sound, combined with a deep and dark note - this mixture provides a balanced sound that fits well into a wide range of musical styles with clarity and precision. In addition to the six layers of walnut and bubinga, a transparent outer layer of walnut adds elegance to this snare drum. The boiler hardware of the Star series The Snaredrum of the Star series has a 10-hole Sound Arc tension tire and modern Star Tube trestles, which are equipped with wheel nuts and ensure an exact and stable tuning.
