The Yamaha CLP-775 digital piano features a linear-weighted GrandTouch™ keyboard with real wood keys, providing realistic, accurate performance. 38 tones, including the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial grand pianos created with binaural sampling, provide superb sound. The use of Virtual Resonace Modeling (VRM) technology opens up new dimensions of sound in digital pianos. New to the Yamaha CLP-775 are the sounds of the fortepiano (hammerklavier), which allow classical music of the 18th and early 19th centuries in particular to be heard in a natural way. The GP Response Damper pedal in the CLP-775 provides a resistance curve like a real grand piano. This allows pianists to become accustomed to the subtle nuances of real grand piano pedals. A very powerful and balanced speaker system ensures that every sound is reproduced optimally and very naturally. GrandTouch™ real wood keyboard The Yamaha CLP-775 digital piano features a high-quality GrandTouch™ touch-sensitive real wood keyboard with great dynamics and responsive feel on par with a concert grand piano. The highly durable piano hammers replicate the response pianists feel when the hammers strike the strings, allowing for precise tonal control. The surface of all of the digital piano's highly absorbent white keys are made of synthetic ivory, and the black keys feature faux ebony. This prevents slippage even during long playing sessions and provides a natural feel. A pressure point mechanism built into the keyboard replicates the feel just before the end of keyboard pressure. This mechanism was designed to be felt only when light pressure is applied, similar to the keyboard of a concert grand piano. Full sound experience Grand Expression Modeling, a newly developed technology in the field of digital pianos, interprets the interaction and interplay of the mechanical elements of a concert grand piano. The interaction and interplay of the hammers, dampers and strings when the keys are struck is optimally reproduced. The two sounds of the...
