Thanks to the popularity of the XY touchpad, this innovative technology has been implemented in many other KORG devices. With the KAOSS Replay, KORG now presents the latest member of this successful family of devices. The new KAOSS Replay combines a surprisingly powerful pad sampler with KORG's popular KAOSS effect technology to create a true performance monster. With its comprehensive connection section and the ability to be powered via USB-C, the KAOSS REPLAY also allows for quick and easy set-up and take-down regardless of location, guaranteeing relaxed performances without the typical problems of larger setups with different devices. The most obvious difference to its predecessors is probably its advanced sampling and playback functions, which each offer 128 sample slots (16 pads x 8 banks) for up to 100 different projects. So nothing stands in the way of hours of live sets with the typical KAOSS factor! With its robust aluminium housing in an elegant yet minimalist design, the KAOSS Replay strikes the perfect balance between performance-friendly dimensions and limitless mobility. IMPORTANT INFORMATION! The OS update to version 2 of the KAOSS Replay is a significant improvement based on user feedback and significantly enhances the workflow and performance. The number of effects has been increased to 209, and up to 16 samples or loops can now be played back simultaneously. New features include enhanced loop recording settings, quantisation options, time signatures, a pre-count function, a metronome and improved sampling options. Additional sample editing tools such as trimming, normalising, inverting and pitch adjustment facilitate sound creation. Version 2 also offers intuitive pad info and adjustable volume levels for flexible mixing.
