The coaxial system provides an ideal point source with an absolutely linear, colouration-free frequency response for reliable evaluation of mixes and fatigue-free listening. Three powerful power amplifiers supply the monitor with a total of 550 watts. The large sound path provides a wide listening zone and excellent stereo imaging. Two oval woofers deliver optimal directivity down to the lower frequency ranges. The speaker can be easily operated horizontally or vertically due to the coaxial alignment. The die-cast aluminium enclosure is robust and extremely low in resonance. The rounded cabinet edges prevent sound colouration. A protective circuit prevents damage when playback levels are too high. Individual room adjustment Disturbing room influences can be significantly reduced by DSP filters (DIP switch on the rear panel) or targeted calibration with the GLM2 measurement microphone/software. The IsoPod base included in the scope of delivery decouples the loudspeaker from the ground. In addition, the speaker can be tilted and precisely aligned to the listening position.
