It contains not only the new compressor and limiter circuitry but also a high-end digital converter with precise internal clocking and allows individual compression of left and right channels or mid and side signals. In addition, RND's proprietary Silk circuitry allows a transformer to be switched into the signal path, which is used to create saturation artefacts and harmonics. Finally, the RND Master Bus Compressor can be connected to existing digital equipment via Word Clock. Due to its low jitter clocking, the Rupert Neve Designs MBC is also suitable as a Master clock.
