The high-quality tonewoods have been carefully crafted for this model and offer excellent handling. In addition, three Velvetron Stark humbuckers provide a solid sound, while the active Darkglass Tone Capsule preamp with 3-band EQ provides a wide sound palette. Body and neck The Patriot VF 5 consists of a body made of swamp ash, while the top made of curly maple allows a chic grain to shine through under the Transparent Purple Horizon finish. The five-striped wenge/amaranth neck offers comfortable handling and carries the multiscale fingerboard made of wenge, which is equipped with 24 extra jumbo frets and offers a 20" fingerboard radius. The multiscale scale ranges from 34" to 37" and allows a defined sound even with low tunings - high-pitched riffs remain crisp and articulate.
