The active loudspeaker with a 1" compression tweeter and 10" custom woofer plus a rechargeable battery can be operated for up to 8 hours and is driven by a Class D power amplifier with 480 Watt (peak). It has a UHF radio receiver operating in the unregistered 863 - 865 MHz range and is supplied with a wireless microphone. For wired devices, the Road Buddy has two channels with combo jacks and individual volume controls that can be switched for microphone and line levels. The LD Systems Road Buddy is easily and conveniently transportable thanks to a pull-out handle and integrated wheels.
