Outstanding sound quality and performance Thanks to the ESS Sabre32™ DACs, the MOTU 848 achieves a dynamic range of up to 125 dB. The powerful drivers ensure a round-trip latency of less than 2 ms, which enables absolute precision even in complex studio and live scenarios. Flexible inputs and outputs With 28 inputs and 32 outputs, the 848 offers enough channels for large setups. Four mic/line/hi-Z combo sockets with remote-controlled gain (+74 dB), pad and phantom power guarantee maximum versatility. There are also eight line-ins, twelve line-outs, two ADAT banks and two headphone outputs. Integrated DSP mixing with effects The MOTU 848's 64-channel DSP mixer offers 32 busses and high-quality effects such as reverb, 4-band EQ, compressor, Gate and high-pass filter. Signals can be freely routed and split via virtual patch cables - all controllable via the CueMix Pro app on Mac, PC or mobile devices. Network connection and control The interface can be integrated into networks via the two Gigabit AVB ports, several devices can be linked or hundreds of audio channels can be streamed via CAT cable. With WLAN control, talkback function, A/B/C monitor switching and standalone mixer operation, the 848 is ideally equipped for both studio use and live situations.
