The term COB stands for Chip-on-Board-LEDS. In contrast to the usual SMD LEDs with a maximum of 2 LED chips, COB LEDs have many individual LED chips arranged. The COB LED of the theatre spotlight is characterised by a homogeneous beam quality and a high color rendering index of greater than 95 Ra. The light beam of a COB LED appears like a uniform light rather than individual points of light. They also have an extremely long life and are power efficient. The brightness of the Eurolite LED THA-100F TRC Theater-Spot sw can be adjusted via a knob on the back directly at the device. In addition, the spotlight equipped with a Fresnel lens has a manual zoom from 9 to 60°. Thanks to the flicker-free projection, it can also be used for TV productions.
