Introducing our new alu/steel PergoSTET range - exclusive to Harbour Lifestyle - is an award winning range of modern Pergolas. All PergoSTET pergolas provide shade in the summer heat, and with tilting louvres, you can quickly switch between a closed roof and an open-top allowing the sunshine to come beaming through. The incredibly well designed, built-in drainage system prevents you from having to open the steel louvred roof as any excess water that lands on the louvres, flow into u shaped channels. Water will not pool on top, as any excess rainwater will flow from the roof into the aluminium framework of the pergola, once in the horizontal framework, the rainwater flows into the legs and then vertically down to the ground. It's important to remember that pergolas are not watertight buildings and in the event of torrential rain, the water may not flow through the guttering system quick enough and therefore cause leakage, much like an overwhelmed gutter on a house. This well engineered contemporary pergola requires 2-3 people to assemble and should be completed in approximately 2 - 3 hours. We recommend mounting the Pergola onto a solid and flat surface. Once assembly is complete, it's crucial to promptly secure the structure to the floor using the bolts that are provided as standard. Not doing so risks structural integrity, potentially causing beams to shift. Unbolted feet leave your pergola vulnerable to movement, compromising its durability and safety. All PergoSTET pergolas come with a 3 year warranty on the frame and 1 year warranty on the louvres. Optional Side Curtains Side curtains can be added to enhance comfort and protection, offering a practical way to create a more enclosed and sheltered outdoor space. Crafted from high-quality, weather-resistant fabric, they provide effective coverage from wind, rain and strong sunshine throughout the year. Each curtain operates on a smooth-glide track system for easy opening and closing, with a zip fastening to secure it neatly in place. Three Velcro straps attach the curtain to the pergola post for stability, while a large tieback allows you to pull the curtains back when you prefer an open, airy feel. Designed to complement the clean lines of the PergoSTET Lite range, they offer a modern, functional finishing touch. Strong winds/weather conditions We highly recommend assembling your pergola during suitable weather conditions. This will help ensure the safety of the pergola, minimize any potential risks during the assembly process, and facilitate a secure and successful installation. Surface levels PergoSTET pergolas need to be installed on level surfaces in order for their drainage system to work efficiently. Standard 1:80 falls for surface water runoffs on patios are perfectly acceptable. If the fall is significantly steeper than this, installation may still be possible but performance will be affected and warranties may be invalid.
